Purpose: This is an advocacy leadership opportunity available to youth in our diocese that also serves as the official voice of our young people to the wider church. It brings to the church’s attention issues facing the youth, and brings to the youth issues facing the wider Episcopal Church in Mississippi. The Youth Delegates have voice, seat, and vote at our annual Diocesan Council. The Alternates and At-Large members advise the Youth Delegates and represent the youth to Council through other methods.
