The DOY (Division of Youth) Council is a group of youth and adults who lead our primary diocesan Jr. High (6th-8th) and Sr. High (9th-12th) weekend events throughout the school year.

Youth on DOY Council learn about and gain experience in behind the scenes planning and organization as well as upfront leadership.  Youth must be in at least 9th grade to apply and not yet have graduated high school.

Adults on DOY Council advise and guide the youth on DOY Council as they learn and exercise those skills.  The adults also serve as the primary and consistent adult staff members from weekend to weekend, although there are additional staff spots for adults who can only staff a weekend here or there.  All adult staff are background checked and receive additional staff training.

Everyone who serves on DOY Council is expected to serve at all four events (a Jr. High and Sr. High event each semester) plus a training weekend held at the beginning of the school year.
