Welcome to first grade!  My name is Mrs. Amber Gardner.  This is my 12th year at Parkview Elementary and my 18th year teaching.  I am originally from Ely, Nevada, but have lived in Dillon since 2012.  I have three children... Trace, Aliyah, and Elijah. I have been married to my husband Lamar for 25 years.  

I want every child to feel happy, successful, and safe.  My goal for all students is to create curiosity and a love of learning in all areas.  We work together to create a positive, fun, challenging, and creative a classroom that develops a strong foundation for all students by meeting students where they are at.  We celebrate differences and mistakes to develop academic and social skills.  I believe that open communication and collaboration between teachers, parents, and students is essential to each child's education.
