Teacher Biography

I am excited to return to Parkview Elementary and Dillon Public School District this year. I have been working in education and education related fields for more than 20 years. My husband and I moved to Dillon Montana 15 years ago, planning on just staying a couple of years, and fell in love with the beauty of the state and decided to stay and raise our children here. 

I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from University of Idaho. After moving to Montana, I started working as a para-professional at Parkview Elementary and found that I loved it! While working at Parkview, I trained to become a Dyslexia Specialist.  I then completed my Masters of Education and Curriculum through Western Govenor's University. I earned my Special Education Endorsement for PreK - 12th grade from the University of Montana Western not long after. I am currently finishing up a second graduate degree from Arkansas State University for School Counseling.  

I have had the opportunity to work with students of all ages in the regular classroom and as a special educator. I am looking forward to getting to know each Parkview elementary student this year.
