The purpose of the study is to evaluate options to improve or relocate the facility that services Highways 7, 416 and 417 through the City of Ottawa.

As shown on the maps to the right, the existing Kanata Maintenance Patrol Yard is located at 214 Didsbury Road. The Site Selection Study Area includes Highway 417 from Carp Road to Innes Road, and Highway 416 from Highway 417 to Fallowfield Road.
