Barangay Road Clearing Operations
The program's objective is to reclaim public roads being used for private ends and directs all Local Government Units to clear roads of illegal obstructions, manage and maintain roads within their jurisdiction as a basic service and facility.

Ano ang road clearing operation?
Ito ay direktiba ng National Government sa mga local na pamahalaan upang i-reclaim o bawiin ang mga pampublikong kalsada o mga bahagi nito na ginagamit para sa pansarili o pribadong kapakinabangan (ginagawang paradahan, sinakop ng bakuran, tinayuan ng mga konkretong imprastraktura, at iba pa). Layunin nitong siguradohin na maiaalis ang mga obstruction o sagabal sa mga pampublikong kalsada, maging ito ay mga permanente o temporary na imprastraktura.
Ano ang gagawin sa mga concrete fence, waiting sheds, at iba pa?
Kelangan alisin ang kahit na anong uri o klase ng obstruction kung ito ay nakatirik sa bahagi ng pampublikong kalsada.
Susundin ba ng standard na sukat ng barangay road, city/municipal road, provincial road na sinasabi ng DPWH?
Hindi. Bagama't mayroong standard na sukat ang mga kalsada na tinutukoy ang DPWH, ay hindi ito ang magiging batayan sa pagsasagawa ng road clearing operations. Tanging ang kasalukuyang sukat o existing road lamang ang maaring i-clear ng mga lokal na pamahalaan. Matatagpuan ang mga existing na sukat ng mga kalsada sa Local Network Map ng bawat lokal na pamahalaan.
