Not EVERY game makes it to the shops, as X-Treme/Sonic-16/Mars/32X/Call-it-what-you-will has shown us. From 1993 to 1997, four years of a shaky development, and illness after illness, this game stayed in the archives, for over 15 years. But now we have more information on the game, we can ACTUALY review this game!
The games first level, and the ONLY level, Jade gully, is fine I guess. Could be better, but it's fine. It's also one of the only reasons the devs remember this game!
The models are spot-on, even the "condor" versions!
Also, ever heard that Soundtrack? I'd say it tops SA2. Although, theres no story, sadly.
But why was the game cancelled? Time and health, that's why. Some of the developers probably had the painful experience of "Very Severe Burnout," giving them only 6 months to live. Yes, this is true. So, 3D Blast for the saturn released instead, and I'm okay with that, and so was Japan.
(Might make a 3D Blast review...)
7/10
