• The minimum age to visit TROPIKALI is 18 years. The organization can ask visitors to show a valid ID at any time.

• Visitors have to be in possession of a valid entry ticket. 

• Visitors enter TROPIKALI at their own risk. The organization takes no responsibility for any damages on any grounds whatsoever, which directly or indirectly arise out of acts or omissions of TROPIKALI, persons in its services, other persons who are working at the festival, or third parties during or in connection with the event, unless the damage is caused by intent or gross negligence of the organization.

• Visiting TROPIKALI is always at your own risk. The organizer is not liable for any (health related) consequences that visiting TROPIKALI might entail. 

• The organization reserves the right to refuse/deny (further) access to visitors in a drunken state and/or under the influence of narcotics. 

• The possession or dealing of hard drugs is prohibited at TROPIKALI. If there is any evidence of overt use and/or possession, confiscation of the drugs will follow and/or the offender will be handed over to the police.

• Soft drugs is only allowed up to 3gram per person.

• Pre-rolled joints are not allowed and will be taken by security.

• Visitors will be searched preemptively and (hand) bags will be checked to ensure the safety of the visitors. Possession of glass, plastic bottles, cans, fireworks, drugs, (fire) arms and/or other dangerous or prohibited items or substances, food, (alcoholic) drinks and/or pets are not allowed. 

• It is not allowed to make professional audio or video recordings without written permission from the organization. 

• Smoking is not permitted in indoor areas.

• Visitors are advised to wear earplugs. These will be available at the stand near the market area and can also be purchased at all the regular bars.

• Visitors must be properly dressed. Discriminatory clothing is not allowed.

• The organization will not tolerate threats, abuse, discrimination, sexual harassment and other nuisance and/or offensive behavior.

• When entering and/or leaving TROPIKALI visitors shall not cause nuisance to the neighborhood. 

• Cups are not allowed to be taken outside the event. 

• It is not allowed to hand out promotional materials (samples, flyers, etc.) without written permission from TROPIKALI.

• Visitors are held to follow instructions, regulations and/or directions of event staff at all times. 

• It is not possible to exit and re-enter after entering TROPIKALI.

• It is not allowed to urinate outside of the designated restrooms.

• Access to TROPIKALI will be denied to visitors who do not comply with these House rules and the Terms and Conditions without the right to reimbursement of tickets, any service charges and/or other costs. 

• TROPIKALI can be changed, moved or canceled in accordance with the Terms and Conditions.

At TROPIKALI we want to ensure a safe space for all of our guests and protect the values of inclusivity, respect and appreciation for one another that are imperative to us and our community. We ask all our visitors to follow the inclusivity rules:

We will not tolerate racist, sexist, transphobic, homophobic, biphobic, femme phobic, ageist, ableist, classist, xenophobic, antisemitism, islamophobia heteronormative or oppressive behaviour or language of any kind.

We have zero-tolerance for non-consensual touching, staring, commenting or any behaviours which might make others feel uncomfortable. Consent is a core factor to ensuring the safety and freedom of our guests to enjoy their time during TROPIKALI and any form of non-consensual activity is prohibited.

Using another person’s culture to represent either oppression or freedom comes off as disrespectful, stereotypical, racist and xenophobic. Romanticising another culture or race can also be a form of stereotyping. We ask our guests to be responsible for their own stories instead of appropriating cultural heritage that does not belong to them.

TROPIKALI is a space where LGBTQ+ people - and those who don’t know where they stand - can express themselves freely and without judgment.
