These efforts, supported by local businesses and organizations, act as preventative measures against homelessness, hunger, and poverty.

NETRO

Northeast Texas Rescue Organization (NETRO) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2013 to help homeless, neglected, and abandoned animals in Northeast Texas. Run entirely by volunteers, NETRO supports shelter animals through foster care, veterinary transport, and rescue partnerships, giving hundreds of animals a second chance at life.

SAFE-T Thrift Store

SAFE-T provides confidential support, shelter, and advocacy for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, offering protection, counseling, and community education to promote safety and healing. 

CASA

CASA trains and supports volunteers to advocate for abused and neglected children in the foster care system, helping ensure they are placed in safe, permanent, and nurturing homes.
