2nd International Workshop on Semantic Technologies for Data Management
2nd International Workshop on Semantic Technologies for Data Management
The Semantic Technologies for Data Management (ST4DM) workshop emerged as a dedicated venue focused on applying semantic technologies to data management with an integrated perspective of unifying data with its underlying semantics. The specific goals of this workshop are to:
Advance foundational understanding (ontology profiles, tractability, decidability and complexity results that inform implementable systems).
Bridge theory and practice through system reports, benchmarks, and case studies that reveal practical trade-offs.
Stimulate symbolic–subsymbolic research that preserves explainability and formal guarantees while leveraging ML for scale and noisy data.
Expected outcomes are a focused research roadmap, new collaborations across KR/DL/ICLP/LICS and systems/ML communities, and tangible shared artefacts (implementations, datasets, benchmarks, position papers).
