Biography
Luigi V. Mancini is a professor at Sapienza University of Rome.
He published more than 100 scientific papers in international conferences and journals, and received more than 6000 citations. He served on the program committees of several international conferences, among which: ACM Conference on Computer and Communication Security, ACM Symposium on Access Control Models and Technology, European Symposium on Research in Computer Security, and Financial Cryptography and Data Security Conference.
He participated in numerous national and international research projects in the area of security and privacy, which include: SUNFISH project, funded by the EC Horizon 2020 programme under grant agreement No. 644666; and GAINS (Geopolitics Aware INternet Strategies, ref. HOME/2013/CIPS/AG/4000005057) funded by the European Commission - Directorate General Home Affairs.
Formerly, he has been the Vice Dean of the Facoltà di Ingegneria dell'Informazione, Informatica e Statistica
Luigi V. Mancini received the PhD degree in Computer Science from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne, UK, in 1989.
