Even if you are remote, you can still access books through the library catalog. The video below will show you how to put books on hold to be picked up when you are in the building.

Google Scholar searches for scholarly articles; however, you may get just an abstract, not the full text of an article.
Google Books provides access to thousands of books that are in the public domain.
