January 17th to February 16th
To register, please fill in a form, attach a letter of motivation (a model will be provided) and a CV with a photo. It is recommended to do everything at the same time.
January - February
Each applicant will have to book a date and time for a personal interview. Through this conversation we want to get to know the students better.
February 21st to 22nd
This training day will be held on Friday and Saturday 21 and 22 February in Loyola, Azpeitia for students applying to the University of Deusto.
March 10th
Meeting of the heads of the universities participating in the program for the assignment of places and projects to the students selected by each university.
March 10th to 17th
During this week, all applicants will be informed whether or not they have been selected, as well as the project. Those selected must confirm their place within 24 hours.
March 25th to April 3rd
This week we will try to plan, as far as possible, the connections with those responsible for the projects. Students and accompanying persons will be informed of the dates in advance.
April 4th to 6th
This weekend (from Friday afternoon to Sunday before lunch) the training will take place in El Escorial (Madrid) for those selected from all the universities that call the program.
October 3rd to 5th
All volunteers will be offered to participate in an inter-university evaluation and celebration weekend in October. In the event that this is not possible, each university will try to plan its own meeting. Advance notice of changes will be given.
All the SELECTED STUDENTS for the VUELA program will receive common training for participation in the volunteer projects. This training is ON SITE AND COMPULSORY. The program begins with training.
OBJECTIVE: to promote intensive volunteering (national and international) from a perspective of education for development and global citizenship in which reflective and transformative learning is encouraged, open to diversity and committed to an international vision of justice and solidarity.
CONTENTS:
Context training: human rights, development and poverty, social justice and equity, globalization and global citizenship.
Training on volunteering: responsibilities, attitudes, skills and competencies of volunteering.
Specific training on specific projects: working in teams and with organizations.
Please read carefully the conditions of support and financial support for participation in the program.
1.TRAINING: The University of Deusto is responsible for the costs of board and lodging derived from the training of its students. Students will only be responsible for the cost of transportation to the place of the course, both to the day in Azpeitia and to the weekend in El Escorial.
2. TRIP TO THE PROJECT: the cost of transportation to and from the project site shall paid by the student. The purchase of these will be made as a team, once the final dates of arrival and departure of the projects are finalized.
3. PROJECT STAY: tll volunteers selected by University of Deusto to participate in the Vuela 2025 program will receive an economic aid that will cover:
100% of accommodation and local transportation costs during the project.
An allowance of 7 euros/day for living expenses.
