Functional and Aesthetic Mugs
Students created two ceramic mugs. A functional mug using patterns or designs and an aesthetic mug illustrating a more sculptural form.
Ceramic Relief Tiles
Students explored the properties of clay to create relief sculptures. Students incorporated low, medium and high reliefs. Texture, additive and subtractive techniques were also demonstrated.

Students created coiled vessels using a variety of coiled techniques as well as added icons, symbols or images about themselves.
