BMX Racing is an individual sport where riders race bicycles on a dirt track with turns, jumps, and a starting gate. Riders compete in short, exciting races against others of similar age and skill level.
One of the best things about BMX is that everyone participates. There are no bench players and no sitting out. In BMX Racing, everyone rides, every time.
BMX Racing has been an official Olympic sport since 2008, and with a USA BMX membership, riders have access to more than 300 sanctioned tracks across the United States and Canada. The racing season runs nearly year-round, with opportunities to race approximately 50 weeks out of the year.
The DeSoto BMX Beginner League helps new riders and families learn the sport in a fun, supportive, beginner-friendly environment.
Learn. Ride. Have Fun.
Nobody rides the bench in BMX Racing.
