Istation is both our quarterly benchmarking tool, which allows us to take the pulse of where our students are at defined points throughout the year, but it's also an instructional support tool that students can use, both at school and at home, to practice these assessed skills.



The Missouri Assessment Program (MAP) and End of Course Assessments (EOC) are state-administered assessment given to students in grades 3-8 for reading, math, and science, and high school students at the completion of Algebra I, Biology I, English II, and Government.

The ACT is a popular college entrance exam. It is based on what students should have learned during their time in high school.

The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) scores are used to determine if you are qualified to enlist in the military and to assign you to an appropriate job in the military

Our district provides students with a variety of Career and Technical Education opportunities, some of which require assessments. Students participating in these courses and/or taking courses at the Jefferson College Area Technical School will be required to complete End of Course assessments.

Large-scale and ongoing assessment requires coordination and collaboration. A district-wide assessment plan lines provides timelines, requirements, and helpful resources for teachers to provide students with the best conditions and opportunities to show what they know and are able to do.
