Sun Community Federal Credit Union Scholarship
All junior and senior high school students who meet the attendance criteria will be entered into a random drawing that will take place at the end of the school year. Sun Community Federal Credit Union is going to award up to $2,500 in scholarships to eligible Junior and Senior students. The attendance parameters for eligibility (to be in school all day, every day and on-time) for all juniors and senior high school students will commence on November 5th, 2018 and end on May 31st, 2019.

Be at least a graduating high school senior or equivalent, Have maintained a "C" average or better in high school, Have applied for admission to a post-high school accredited institution and plan to enter the term following the granting of the scholarship, and be a United States citizen and a resident of Riverside County.

Both Male and Female students may apply. Must show evidence of financial need, have a high scholastic average, and must plan to enroll or be currently enrolled in an accredited college. Print and fill out application, then mail directly to representative named in the application on page 2.

Senior Scholarships are awarded to ANY current 12th grade PSUSD students whose parents, grandparents, &/or legal guardians are active or retired employees of PSUSD.

Seniors planning to pursue a post-high school education, are encouraged to apply for financial aid. Seniors that have a Social Security number may apply through the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at https://fafsa.ed.gov/. The state application filing period is October 1st - March 2nd for students entering college/programs in the fall of 2019.
If a student does not have a Social Security number, they are still eligible for financial aid through the state of California. Students that do not have a Social Security number may apply for financial aid through the California Dream Act at https://dream.csac.ca.gov/.
