Mission

As professional school counselors and support personnel at Shadow Hills High School, we are dedicated to empowering every student to achieve academic success, personal and social growth, wellness and career exploration.

Vision

All Shadow Hills High School students will be college and career ready possessing the necessary skills for personal success, with a passion for lifelong learning; and who are prepared to become productive and responsible citizens of society.

WHAT DOES COUNSELING & STUDENT SERVICES PROVIDE?

• Individual counseling, small group counseling, class guidance lessons, parent institutes and workshops as well as career exploration;

• Support and resources in the college application process, financial aid procedures;

• Graduation evaluations, credit evaluations, college/career high school four year plan evaluations;

• Facilitate the California College Guidance Initiative (Cal Colleges) milestone lessons in tandem with teachers.
