Instruction will continue to focus on enabling students to demonstrate both numeracy and the literacy skills of reading, writing, speaking, and reasoning and preparing them to participate actively as citizens in a technologically advanced society.
Shadow Hills High School provides many academic and extracurricular activities. Students who become involved outside the classroom are more successful inside the classroom. We hope our students maximize their high school experience by becoming involved in our school's athletic and academic teams, visual and performing arts programs, and outstanding club activities. There are many to choose from and each student can find something that is of interest to them to make the high school experience engaging and rewarding.
We will also be working to streamline our behavior and learning expectations by incorporating Positive Behavior Intervention and Support (PBIS) strategies on our campus. With that end in mind, we will continue to focus on our values that are the foundation of how we interact with each other. Knights have:
Respect—treat people the way you would like to be treated
Integrity—honest and having strong moral principles
Greatness— the quality of being great, distinguished, or eminent
Honor—high respect; esteem
Teamwork—collaborative effort of a team to achieve a common goal
We believe that these values will help you be successful in school, career, and life in general.
I am looking forward to seeing you as we begin the start of the 2018-19 school year! Follow me on Twitter at @SHHS_Principal for the latest news. Stop by and say hello when you see me on campus.
Mr. Gabriel P. Fajardo

What a joy to enter my 26th year of education as a Shadow Hills High School Knight! As your new College and Career Readiness/CTE Administrator, I bring enthusiasm, support and an “eager beaver” smile as I combine the wisdom of 20 terrific years as a teacher with 6 years as an Assistant Principal working with students, staff and families in everything from Assessment and Curriculum to Positive Behavioral Guidance and Special Education. As your new Knights Assistant Principal, I will continue in my goal of supporting students and staff in reaching their highest potential. See you out there, Knights—I’ll be the one wearing the big ol’ sunhat!
