Mission Statement

The LQHS PTO is a nonprofit, volunteer parent/teacher organization whose membership includes all parents, legal guardians, faculty and staff at La Quinta High School. The PTO’s mission is to help fund projects the school budget cannot, as well as promote open and positive communication and understanding between parents and staff of La Quinta High School. Our efforts serve to enhance the educational opportunities and environment of all students attending this school. The PTO holds fundraisers to provide financial assistance for various school clubs, events and classrooms. We volunteer our time at schoolwide events, organize appreciation experiences to boost the morale of the faculty and staff, and support school and family social interaction. It is our belief that the team effort of a parent teacher organization offers the best possible learning environment for our students. "
