Welcome to Amistad High School's Automotive Technology Pathway. This entry-level automotive technology course aims to introduce 11th-grade students to the fundamentals of automotive technology with a strong emphasis on safety and adherence to industry standards. The course is designed to develop students' skills in vehicle preparation, delivery, and maintenance, focusing on the proper use and upkeep of tools and equipment. Students will gain comprehensive knowledge of wheels and tires, including inspection and diagnosis techniques. Additionally, the course will prepare students for various careers in the automotive industry through professional development and career planning activities, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in their future endeavors. After completing the "Intro to Auto" course you will be prepared to continue in the program to the College of the Desert level courses.
