Community Gardens
grade 12
Senior run & organized garden, utilizing sustainable practices. Seeds and fertilizer will be sourced locally when possible, and the gardens will be on school grounds.
grades 6-8
Make and program Lego robots to complete challenges with your team. The team may (depending on participation and time) compete with other local schools.
Legacy Art Project
grades 4-5
Empowering students to connect the dots and create a bigger project for the wellbeing of our school community. Connect, Create, and Change with the 4th & 5th grade Legacy Project.
Battle of the Books
grades 3-12
Students compete in teams of 2-4 to see which team can answer the most questions about a list of 8 books. One team at each level will represent DeRuyter at a regional Battle in the spring.
Game Club
grades 6-12
We've got board games (and card games, and more)! Join us to learn how to play classic and new games.
Magic: The Gathering
grades 6-12
Bring your own deck(s), or borrow cards from Mr. Miller to make a deck and learn to play this classic collectible card game.
3-5 Program
grades 3-5
A structured general program with games and hands-on activities.
K-2 Program
grades K-2
Crafts, games, stories, outside time and other activities for primary grade students.
Intramural Pop-Ups
grades 6-12
Activities will be announced as the gyms or other spaces become available.
