New Era Elementary School ranked 20th in the Quezon City Top Performing schools out of 81 schools who competed.
The World Read Aloud Day is a global event that takes place on the first Wednesday of February to encourage storytelling and reading. The principal herself, Ma’am Chelma B. Cabatic, teachers, and pupils, along with our community's stakeholders, the barangay, and even our beloved parents, enthusiastically engaged in the read-aloud activity during our school's celebration on February 7, 2024.

Drop Everything and Read!
In line with the implementation of the National Reading Program as an integral component of the National Learning Recovery Program (NLRP), the Department of Education implements Catch-up Fridays.
Starting this January 12, 2024, through the Drop Everything and Read (DEAR) Day, this initiative aims to provide learners with the opportunity to engage in independent silent reading of their preferred material.
Catch-up Fridays is designed to strengthen the foundational, social, and other relevant skills necessary to actualize the intent of the basic education curriculum by focusing on the development of learner's reading, critical thinking, analytical, and writing skills.

Ang buong kommunidad ng New Era Elementary School, sa pangunguna ng punong-guro na si Gng. Chelma B. Cabatic ay lubos na nagpapasalamat sa ating maasahang mayora na si Hon. Josefina Belmonte at sa Quezon City Local Government. Para ito sa maagap na aksyon sa rehabilitasyon ng mga palikuran ng NEES. Gayundin, maraming salamat sa MF Tibayan Construction and Trading Corporation na tumatayong kontraktor na magsasagawa ng pagaayos ng mga palikuran.
On January 5, 2024, New Era Elementary School organized its first clean-up drive of the year. The school principal, Mrs. Chelma B. Cabatic, initiated this campaign to ensure that the school campus remains clean, particularly during this time when many learners are sick.
