The Malanday National High School adopted the STVE (Strengthened Techinical-Vocational Education Curriculum) since 2007. Since then, the school has encountered many challenges, But despites these challenges, it continuously hurdled obstacles to perform multifarious tasks. As producers of competent technicians, MNHS will critically assume a role model in the field of secondary tech-voc education.

The school is faced with greater challenges than ever before that it has to reminisce, evaluate, visualize, focus, plan, and map the needed steps in preparation for the achievement of its vision and mission. The administration in collaboration with the teachers of Malanday National High School have to benchmark with educational school known for excellence to cope with the increasing demands in the national and international market/industry.

Like any other school, Malanday National High School takes its own initiative to increase participation, completion, and achievement of students and to raise its own standard based on the particular needs and resources as practicable to the community.
