Formal and Objective Tone: The statement should be written in the third person, maintaining a formal yet reflective approach.
This statement serves as a foundation for understanding the artist’s motivation and vision behind the study, ensuring clarity and depth in the research process.
Living a life with a disability is not a hopeless case. An artist contributes to the world through masterpieces, marking a unique way of inspiring others artistically. Many well-known artists have contributed to the world of art, inspiring young artists in every way. Their masterpieces and stories have become part of history and a living legacy for future generations. In a certain way, the researchers are inspired to become like various artists in the world. Many of their techniques and styles have been integrated into the researchers’ way of expressing themselves through art.
In their journey, the researchers experienced hardships and trials that affected their motivations. While reflecting on their personal conditions, the researchers came to think of the hardships of people who had succeeded in the field of visual art despite physical limitations. If people without disabilities have inspired the researchers, how much more inspiring it might be when artists learn about the success stories of an artist with disability. The researchers believe that the story of a local artist with disability who has made a significant contribution to the world of visual arts will open the minds of artists to live a life of contribution in their own little way.
With this, the researchers decided to conduct a production study about the building blocks behind the local artist's success stories. The study aims to explore the experiences, struggles, and achievements of the artist, providing valuable insights into their artistic journey.
The goal of this research is to ascertain how the local artist has changed throughout the course of her career and to produce an original acrylic painting on canvas based on the motivation and success of a local artist in Santa Barbara, Iloilo, for the year 2022-2023. This study is expected to provide inspiration and a deeper understanding of perseverance and artistic excellence for both the researchers and future readers.
