Nueva Vizcaya is one of the provinces of the Cagayan Valley Region (Region 02). It is considered as the gateway to the beautiful and productive valley of the Northern Philippines. Its capital town is Bayombong where the Schools Division Office is situated.
Basic education is under the Schools Division of Nueva Vizcaya, one of the nine (9) divisions of the DepEd Regional Office Number 02. SDO Nueva Vizcaya has 23 districts, covering 47 public secondary schools and 335 public elementary schools. (https://deped-nv.com.ph/)
THE LEARNING RESOURCE MANAGEMENT AND DEVELOPMENT SYSTEM (LRMDS)
The Learning Resources Management and Development System (LRMDS) comprises four integrated sub-systems designed to support increased distribution and access to learning, teaching, and professional development resources at the Region, Division, and School/Cluster levels of DepED. The whole system covers the ff:
1. Assessment and Evaluation
2. Development, Acquisition, and Distribution
3. Storage and Maintenance
4. Publication and Delivery
LEARNING RESOURCE MANAGEMENT SECTION (LRMS)
The LRMS manages the development, quality assurance, allocation, and distribution of learning resources. The Education Program Supervisor for Learning Resource Management and Development System is assisted by the Librarian II and Project Development Officer II.
DEVELOPMENT AND QUALITY ASSURANCE OF CONTEXTUALIZED LEARNING RESOURCES (CLRs)
CLRs refer to the developed contextualized learning resources endorsed to the LRMS for further quality assurance on content, social content, language, IPR compliance, and technical specifications.
