Materials Needed: construction paper, ruler,
Procedure:
Cut any triangle using the construction paper.
Draw a line parallel to any side of the triangle.
The triangle should look like the one in the picture.
Measure AP, PB, AB, AQ, QC, AC, PQ, and BC.
Get the value of AP/AB , AQ/AC and PQ/BC. What can you say about their values?
Get AP/PB and AQ/QC. Compare the result.
What conclusion can you make out of this activity?
