Training Workshop on the Preparation of GAD Plan and Budget (GPB) and Accomplishment Report (AR) Batch 1 

In the recently concluded Training Workshop on the Preparation of GAD Plan and Budget (GPB) and Accomplishment Report (AR) Batch 1 held on October 21-25, 2024, at NEAP Region XII, the regional GAD focal person and their respective GAD alternate actively engaged in the intense discussion relative to the preparation and submission of the GAD plans and budget for FY 2025.

Among the challenges encountered by the regional and SDO GAD focal persons in the preparation of GPB were the articulation of gender issues, causes, objectives, identification of gender issues for client and organizational focus, process of attribution, and the usual concern of using GAD funds on team-building activities.

But as the saying goes, all is well that ends well. The agency's draft GAD Agenda was presented by Mx. Ralph Louis Quejada. Ralph Louis Quejada, Gender Perspectives in Education: Introduction to Gender Analysis (GA) and GA Tools, Process, and Guidelines on the Preparation of GAD Plan and Budget (GPB) by Dr. Rowena S. Navera cleared the air and provided guidance to all the participants.
