Pursuant to the Declaration of Filipino Values Month through Presidential Proclamation No. 479 dated October 24, 1994, which aims to strengthen the Filipino culture, values and ideals that are Maka-Diyos, Maka-Tao, Makakalikasan at Makabansa, the Schools Division of Batangas Province, through the Curriculum Implementation Division, encourages all schools, public and private, to hold meaningful school-based activities for the whole month of November.

With its division theme this school year, “MATATAG na Pundasyon: Edukasyon at Karakter na Nagpapalakas sa Kinabukasan ng Bawat Pilipino” this division celebrates the true essence of strong education and strong character which are the cornerstones of shaping a bright future for every Filipino, especially Batangueno learners. Also, this division upholds a strong education and resilient character as the fundamental building blocks for shaping a prosperous future emphasizing the vital role of quality education and moral values in personal and national development.

The Filipino Values Month Celebration events will align with the classroom and MELC (Most Essential Learning Competencies) standards, following the thematic focus on Retrospect Batangueno (RBB) values for the month. This approach guarantees active engagement of students and teachers, enabling them to achieve the required competencies in Edukasyon sa Pagpapakatao during the designated month. The outputs of the learners are encouraged to be one of the recorded assessments as they are MELC- based outputs.
