We are one with Department of Education in visioning teachers, administrators, and other stakeholders to work hand in hand in developing learners to be true citizens and patriots, who have strong desire to serve their country and work for its betterment. Thus, BPNHS assures to inculcate to its learners the values and develop the necessary competencies which are essential for them to be life-long learners. As a learner-centered institution, BPNHS aims to help its learners to be aware on how they will be able to improve themselves and realize their dreams without losing their love to their country and to their fellowmen. In every decision and action made and will be made, BPNHS puts its learners first as they serve as the most important stakeholders of the school.

The school provides an environment where the learners can be what they want to be and choose what they think fit them as well as to move freely. BPNHS provides affirmative action to learners with special needs and learners in special circumstances.
Teachers ensure to provide quality education to every unique learner. As a second parent, they are committed that each learner grows and learns well. They ensure to give them the quality of education that they deserve as they cater to their individual needs for them to be able to live in a culture of honor and excellence.
The administrators and staff see to it that the policies, systems, processes, and behaviors all lead to an enabling and supportive environment where effective learning takes place.
BPNHS actively practice shared governance of basic education with the entire community not only to solicit support from them but also to make them feel that they too are a big factor in developing life-long learners.
Republic Act No. 8491 states that our national motto shall be “Maka-Diyos, Maka-tao, Makakalikasan at Makabansa.” Thus, Bahay Pare National High School ensures to inculcate to its learners these core values in their everyday lives. Aside from the integration of values in all learning areas, the school also provides some activities and programs that help in developing and enhancing these core values. The school makes sure that the learners can freely express their spiritual beliefs while respecting that of the others. The school also upholds and respects the dignity and equality of all including those with special needs. It takes care of its materials, facilities, and equipment and conserves energy and resources. It promotes the appreciation and enhancement of Filipino languages and enables its learners to develop interest and pride in being a Filipino.
The Bahay Pare National High School, first known as Bahay Pare Barangay High School was located along Sitio 2 Bahay Pare, Candaba, which is one of the municipalities that comprise the 4th Congressional District of Pampanga.
In general, the residents of the place have two (2) dialects: Pampango or commonly known as Kapampangan and the other one is Tagalog. Eighty percent (80%) of the people of Bahay Pare speak Tagalog because the place is near Bulacan which is a Tagalog speaking province. Most of the residents earn their living from farming and duck raising. The Barangay High School started its operation in 1965.
Bahay Pare National High School is now being recognized as a fully developed secondary school with a population of 2,151. It was able to sustain its increasing enrolment. Based on the mapping conducted in Barangay Bahay Pare by the assigned teachers, out of approximately 600 total populations from ages 11-19, there were only 32 reported children who are not in school and three major reasons were identified: child labor, poverty and family problems.
There are 88 teaching and non-teaching personnel at Bahay Pare National High School; 1 Principal, 1 Assistant Principal, 3 Head Teacher, 58 Junior High School Teachers comprising of 1 Master Teacher II, 4 Master Teachers I, 24 Secondary School Teachers III, 6 Secondary School Teachers II and 23 Secondary School Teachers I and 3 Non-Teaching Personnel (2 ADASs II and 1 ADAS III). Senior High School has 21 Teachers and 1 Non-teaching personnel. All of them are continuously gaining professional growth through trainings, seminars and workshops not only in the cluster level but also in the division, regional and national level. Most of the teachers are also Master’s Degree holders and some are still determined to finish their MA degree to cope with the new trend in education and acquire globally competitive teaching methodologies and strategies for the globally competitive learners.
The school firmly believes in the saying “Health is Wealth” and “Sound Mind, Sound Body” that is why one of the priorities of the school is to ensure the health and wellness among our students. Based on the data revealed in the nutritional status of 2, 046 students from Grade 7 to Grade 12, 120 of them or 5.86% were reported wasted and 3 students or 0.01% were reported as severelwasted and they were all recipient of our feeding program being conducted at least twice a week. Based on the results of physical examination, there were no cases of students suffering from disabilities and other ailments such as tuberculosis, heart disease, etc.
When it comes to Learning Environment, the School Head, Administrators and Faculty Staff maintain a learning environment of courtesy and respect while teaching personnel assure that the classroom environment is safe and conducive to learning. The average ratio of learner-classroom from Grades 7-12 is 1:47 while the learner-seat ratio is 2:1.
As to learning materials, there are still some subjects with no textbooks. Nevertheless, this is not a hindrance because teachers have the initiative to download Curriculum Guides (CG), Teaching Guides and modules of the lessons. We are also quite proud that our teachers have their own laptops and netbooks with pocket wifi which are being used in the integration of technology to enhance learning.
The school is committed to support the holistic development of the students for them to become proactive members not only in the school but also in the community. The current Child-Friendly School System Survey result shows that the school is an outstanding Child-Friendly school with a remarkable score of 30 points.
The school also encourages the learners to remarkably and skillfully perform specific kind of tasks and motivates them to be more confident in developing their full potentials and competencies. Some of the recognitions and awards that the school received for the S.Y. 2018-2019 are: Barkada Kontra Droga Award (Division Level), 5 Eagle Scout Ranks (National Level), and a significant number of awards in sports from the cluster up to the regional level. It was able to sustain being champion in the Cluster Sports Meet and the Congressional District Meet. In fact, one of the Sepak Takraw players reached the Palarong Pambansa.
Successful instruction is always regarded as a result of a conducive learning environment. Projects and donations from generous stakeholders take a big part in the development of the school’s facilities. Through the effort of the school administrators and teachers, the electrical wiring was rehabilitated and electrical transformer was installed. On the other hand, the MPTA headed by the very supportive and kindhearted President, Mr. Harold P. Tecson, had the stage renovated. The alumni in coordination with the faculty officers, spearheaded the installation of the water tank and the project is still on-going.
BPNHS is committed in giving “quality education” to its students. Through the continuous support of parents, the joint efforts of PTA and barangay officials extended to the school, the dedicated services rendered by the teachers, school administrators, and other DepEd officials, the school was able to accomplish improvements for the entire educational system.
