In Bagay Elementary School, ICT refers to the convergence of carefully selected media technology to raise the quality and access for learning. It is a means to bridge the digital divide, and be a source of innovation as the educational environment shifts.

Project BLENDED (Broadening Learning ENgagement through Dynamic E-learning Delivery)

The adoption and integration of technology, and digitalization of schools, is a prominent issue in the Philippines. The issue is not only concentrated on the availability and use of online tools, but more importantly is the teachers’ competence and teacher education opportunity to learn and display digital competence. Project BETTER is an innovative plan born out of the need to optimize the use of technology in teaching, and more importantly, to expand the competence of teachers in digital media through purposeful experiences and activities. It involves school-based activities, attendance in ICT-focused webinars, participation in ICT integration contests, and producing learning materials utilizing ICT.
