ANHS joins five-day Virtual and Centralized INSET

The Department of Education particu-larly the Information and Communication Technology Service-Educational Technology Unit conducted the first of its kind, virtual and centralized INSET on March 15-19 2021.

Among the topics that were covered during the five-day INSET were the follow-ing: Integrating DepEd TV classroom instruc-tion, Using Deped Commons and its new fea-ture, Accessing Open Educational Resources (OERs), Using the Learning Management System (LMS) to monitor students’ progress, Developing and preparing interactive instruc-tional materials to enhance instruction, and Maximizing ETUlay sessions to help parents in their extended role in distance education. The Virtual INSET were broadcasted live on the following platforms such as DepEd Philip-pines FB Page, DepEd Edtech Unit Youtube

Channel and DepEd TV Youtube Channel. Topics per day were divided and presented in morning and after sessions.

Andarayan National High School to-gether with the teachers nationwide attended and joined the said Virtual INSET offered by the Department of Education. The topics dis-cussed were all comprehensive and signifi-cant especially in the new normal education. The integration of technology was highly em-phasized with the application of the blended learning. The speakers were all knowledgea-ble and well-trained in sharing their topic ses-sions. ANHS teachers interestingly viewed and listened to all the topics from day one to five since they were relevant to the education set up during this pandemic.

Certificates of Attendance and Partici-pation were given after every session, which can be opened in the LMS site by loggi ng the DepEd Commons account. Quiz-zes and reflection about the sessions were also posted which are to be answered in order to view and download the certificates.
