As the Teacher-In-Charge, I would like to welcome you to Cunig Elementary School's website. This website has been prepared and made in the hope that it will become a valuable resource for you parents and stakeholders and provide you with relevant school news and information. This website has been developed to enable everyone to be familiar with our school's programs and thrusts.

We strongly believe that all children deserve quality education and can be achieved given the right educational environment, and we aim to deliver that each and every day for our young learners. We learn together to achieve success for all, based on high expectations and equality of access for all. The whole teaching staff works together to bring learning alive and extend pupils experiences so that they are well prepared for the next steps in education. We nurture the growth of the whole child- academically, socially, emotionally, morally and physically.

This year, the pandemic provides the school with a unique set of parameters which require us to be innovative and nimble. The clarity of our community’s commitment leadership team, and our creative and committed faculty, enable us to offer a high quality, educational program. This school website is one effective tool a school has to improve communication, engage parents, market its strengths and build a trusting reputation within its community. The website increasingly became the interface for the school community and a medium that facilitated the integration of all the schools operation in and outside of the school walls. These are dynamic working sites that are being updated and added virtually every minute of the day by all within the school’s community. The role and purpose and importance of the school website is changing at pace in those schools globally that have moved to a digital operational base. School website is very important for making a good first impression as it is the first contact that people have with the school. This website help make the process of learning entertaining and attractive to the pupils, especially of today’s age.

The global pandemic has disrupted just about every aspect of our lives. Covid- 19 is testing our patience in slowing down and staying put. For many years, all schools throughout the world have been following the traditional style of teaching. The pandemic drama has made the learning system change so dramatically such that it made schools adapt different modalities and use e- learning methods across the world just to continue education and avoid academic freeze for everyone.
The global pandemic has disrupted just about every aspect of our lives. Covid- 19 is testing our patience in slowing down and staying put. For many years, all schools throughout the world have been following the traditional style of teaching. The pandemic drama has made the learning system change so dramatically such that it made schools adapt different modalities and use e- learning methods across the world just to continue education and avoid academic freeze for everyone.
The pandemic has recalibrated teachers to divide their time between teaching and engaging with learners. The pandemic has highlighted the need for flexibility, whereas teachers adapt the new modes of teaching- learning process, with the use of Modular Distance Learning, Online Distance Learning and Television/Radio-Based Instruction.

For us teachers in areas with poor signal, Modular Distance Learning is adapted. Teachers need to download the SLM’s in the learning portal, print the modules and then distribute to the learners. Teachers are very resourceful and therefore called as the “living heroes” with all the efforts just to deliver modules and connect to learners through Google Meet or Messenger. Teachers prove that the teaching and learning process must go on amidst a pandemic. The teachers play an important role in boosting learners engagement in education. Their role becomes crucial in making sure that the learners stay engage and do not loose their motivation in answering their modules and in learning per se.
