San Juan Elementary School started to operate as a primary school in 1957. Since then, it is firmly committed and dedicated in realizing the department's vision- to make Filipino learners competent to contribute meaningfully to building the nation.

Guided by the department's vision, SJES operates in specific direction in the fulfillment of its goals and objectives. It continues to collaborate with its stakeholders for the betterment and attainment of its battle cry "Our learners' education is our TOP priority"

SJES offers and delivers basic education catering the Kindergarten and Grade 1 to Grade 6. As a complete basic elementary school, SJES continuously improves itself to better serve its stakeholders.

San Juan ES hosts the 2021 Cluster Based In - Service Training for Teachers

San Juan Elementary School welcomed the participants and hosted the just concluded 2021 Cluster - Based In - Service Training for Teachers held on February 8 - 13, 2021.

The weeklong INSET was participated by schools from Cluster 4 comprising Bugnay ES, San Juan ES, San Vicente ES and Taribubu ES. It was noted that on February 8, 2021, teachers from the said schools took time for the registration especially that there are a lot of required health protocols to be observed.

The opening program began with the signing of the Philippine National Anthem followed by a prayer which was led by Florida T. Bartolome, Teacher III of San Juan ES.

Rowena D. Balubal, Head Teacher III of the host school welcomed the participants in her welcome remarks, she expressed her gratitude to all participants, encouraged them to take the training lightly and challenged them to treat it as an avenue of new opportunities for professional as well as personal development.

Meanwhile, Maria Patricia F. Pagalilauan, Teacher - in - Charge of Taribubu ES gave the statement of purpose. She mentioned that the main goal of the training is to capacitate and keep teachers abreast with new trends of teaching strategies applicable to the New Normal Education.

Evelyn T. Llapitan, Teacher III of San Juan ES was tasked to give a thought to ponder on so that each participant may be inspired throughout the training.

Maria A. Tagacay, Teacher - in - Charge of San Vicente ES and Ma. Teresa S. Lazatin, Teacher III of San Juan ES introduced the participants and speakers of the INSET respectively.

Carlito A. Taberna, Head Teacher III of Bugnay ES gave an inspirational message to the participants while Irene G. Eustaquio, Teacher I and Judith D. Taberna, Teacher III of San Juan ES led the zumba and community singing respectively to set the right atmosphere for the day's activities.

Lazatin introduces Audio Lesson Creation via Powerpoint Presentation

Ma. Teresa S. Lazatin discussed the topic Creating Audio Lessons through Powerpoint Presentation on March 15, 2021 during the School Based INSET on March 15—19, 2021.

SJES teachers immediately had their workshop after the discussion and had a hands on activity in creating audio lessons.

Lazatin patiently assisted the teachers in creating their audio recording .

As outputs, the demonstration teachers were asked to present their demonstration teaching through audio lesson.

The teachers enjoyed doing the challenging task given to them.

SJES holds School—Based In-Service Webinar/Training for Teacher

San Juan Elementary School conducted a 5-day School—Based In—Service Webinar/Training for Teachers at the Grade V room on March 15—19, 2021.

Florida T. Bartolome, Teacher III spearheaded the conduct of the School—Based INSET.

Among the topics discussed during the INSET were Review of IPCRF and Portfolio Assessment, Contextualization in the New Normal Education, Crafting of Learning Activity Sheets, Facilitative Teaching and Creating Audio Lessons through Powerpoint Presentations.

Other topics were presented through video recorded presentation downloaded via Vidmate app uploaded by DepEd EdTech Unit .
