CLIMBING UP HIGH TOWARDS THE MOUNTAIN OF WISDOM
Kittag is one of Sanchez Mira's upland barangays where Kittag Elementary School is located and occupied mostly by the Isneg tribe. To date, KES still faces scarcity of teaching resources and teachers are continuously challenged in delivering quality basic education but despite these awful conditions, KES is renowned for providing passionate, committed teachers to provide the much-needed services. The school prides itself in providing a challenging and supportive learning environment where learners can succeed and reach their full potential.
At first, fifty percent of my mind says it wasn't my good fortune to be deployed in Kittag Elementary School given the distance I have to travel from home since Kittag ES is known as a geographically isolated school because of its remote location.
But fifty percent of my mind also says that I am lucky because of the very supportive stakeholders of Kittag ES. We share a common responsibility to help our learners learn and meet educational goals. I am mighty proud to be the School Head of such a school described as a community of learners, parents and staff who are dedicated to creating an academically rigorous, culturally caring and inclusive learning environment.
At KES, we believe that by challenging our learners every day, we can help them develop the skills and values they need to ensure their future is as bright as they are.
Kittag ES is so much more than just a school.
At KES, we prepare our learners with the skills and attitudes necessary as they face challenges today and in the long run. Every learner participates in cycles of continuous learning and improvement that includes establishing high expectations, goal setting, planning, action and reflection. Through discovery, exploration, innovation and creative expression, we make sure that our learners receive rich, extended learning opportunities while building a positive school culture where every member feels valued and respected and that no one is left behind
