To help high school learners, and other people crossing the river, the Barangay Officials of Bangatan help each other in putting up a footbridge. A foot bridge that is made up of wood, coconut lumber and round bars.

Barangay Captain Edgar Maracha headed in putting up the foot bridge. Through the help of its constituents, it was made successfully. Which serves convenience to all the people crossing the river. Especially the high school learners, they will be no longer get wet. Even the workers who work in the nearby places. They can easily travel to their workplace without crossing the river. Even us teachers, we will not be hard up anymore in crossing the river. Our uniforms will not get wet anymore.

We will be conveniently crossing the river without getting our feet soak in the river as there is already a foot bridge. It is really of great help having a foot bridge. It makes our travelling time easy and safe. Students, Teachers, and other workers could freely use the bridge. It really helps us a lot especially when we carry a lot of things. Those people going to market during Sundays. They carry a lot of baggages. They really feel the convenience having a footbridge. They will no longer soak the above knee level of water or even higher when it rain so hard. Some people crossing the river could stumble down because of the slippery part of the river. But because of the love and care of our Barangay Council, the footbridge arises. It really helps us a lot.

It makes our travelling enjoyable, fun filled and fruitful as we served the young ones. Maybe someday a permanent bridge may arise soon for the convenience of all.

A bridge that could not be swept away by any natural catastrophe, as it was made stronger. Not like the footbridge, when there is a typhoon or flooding, it could be easily swept away.
