Clean rooms and surroundings, colorful classroom filled with enticing learning materials and attractive landscaping makes pupils be excited in school. To study hard and persevere their dreams. That is the goal of the Brigada Eskwela Program by DepEd.

Brigada Eskwela ( or School Brigade) is a preparation for schools in which they clean the surroundings and prepare the classrooms for the upcoming school year. This program is joined by several stakeholders, such as the parents, the LGU, the Barangay officials, and such. This proves that a connection between education and the community is made possible by the said program.

This year, Fula Elementary School has been one of the schools that are doing such kinds of programs. Teachers and other stakeholders of the school participated by cleaning the surrounding areas, making sure that they are safe for the learners of Fula.

With this program, it has transformed several schools in which it has been the venue where the people from the community has partaken in improving the schools for our learners. People from nearby barangays who volunteer their time or provide money and resources have the unique chance to work with instructors and members of the LGUs. Seeing them collaborate paints a picture of the school and the community it serves having common aims and responsibilities.

One of Brigada Eskwela's goals, according to the Department of Education, is to develop understanding among all segments of society that education of the Filipino people is everyone's responsibility. Brigada Eskwela also compels us to assess our readiness to serve as community members when called upon. We realize how we see ourselves and our duty to the community and the country in general as a result of the chance it affords us- to be a part of the solution to the country's education system's difficulties.

That is why when given the chance, each summer, Fula Elementary School is open for volunteers who are willing to make a change for the pupils' futures.
