The Tenzer Technology Center hosted a group of middle school children who were participating in Express C.A.M.P. at the Prindle Institute for Ethics on the campus of DePauw University. This camp is designed to teach children how to actively engage with others who might have differing views, while also encouraging them to develop and express their own values. To provide a fun and engaging backdrop for the camp, participants assumed roles as ethics explorers who were visiting a fictitious locale named the Island of Moralis.
During the Tenzer Technology Center portion of their week, the explorers used modern virtual reality technology to complete tasks assigned by the Island's Council. They jumped in the minds of cyborg workers, designed a 3D island space, and attempted to complete Plato's challenge.
Participants also visited the Pulliam Center for Contemporary Media and Castlemakers.
