Renovating Peeler 007
Summer 2020
Summer 2020
The Tenzer Technology Center was proud to partner with Art and Art History Department, Information Services, and Academic Affairs to realize a much-needed a renovation to Peeler 007 during Summer 2020. The room is an 18-person teaching lab/classroom that was getting new furniture, computers and monitors. The Tenzer contribution funded the purchase and installation of two 4K 86” displays and the associated media switching infrastructure which affords shared high-resolution viewing for the entire class. We also reoriented the room, modeling the layout after one of the new classrooms being planned for the renovated Roy O. West Library. This configuration (of furniture and technology) will support active learning through hands-on digital media software use and activities from the Art and Art History Department, Film Studies Program, and others.
