We are very excited to kick off Toys for Smiles! A toy drive for children hospitalized over the Holidays at Children's Hospital of Orange County.
The drive gives us the opportunity for some fun at the Centers by decorating their own donation boxes.
We are inviting our teams, our Heroes and our prospective Heroes to donate. We are giving back to prospective patients who Donate with a special smile campaign.
Donations are accepted through the 16th so we have enough time to get the toys to Tustin for Dr Baker and Dr. Betita to deliver to CHOC by the 18th.
CHOC's Compassionate Care by Katie Holbrook (Tustin OM)
When my daughter was just three weeks old, she developed a fever late one night. We were exhausted, the way most new parents are, but something in me knew we couldn’t wait for the pediatrician to call us back. We headed straight to the hospital.
After several diagnostic tests—including a spinal tap—we still had no clear answers beyond “maybe it’s a virus.” The team decided she needed to be transported to CHOC Hospital. Nothing prepares you for the sight of your tiny baby on a stretcher, being rushed into an ambulance. It was one of the worst moments of my life.
When we arrived at CHOC, everything changed. We were immediately taken to the baby unit, where they began hooking her up to IVs and monitors. The relief I felt walking through those doors was overwhelming. We were met with such warmth, compassion, and reassurance. Every nurse, every staff member made us feel seen and supported. They didn’t just care for my daughter—they cared for me, too. At just three weeks postpartum, I was fragile in every sense, and they made sure I was resting, eating, and breathing through it all.
CHOC is an extraordinary place. In one of the most stressful and emotionally traumatic moments of our lives, they provided comfort, clarity, and genuine kindness. About a week later, Emily was well enough to come home. It was just a virus in the end, but we will forever be grateful for the exceptional care they gave our family.

HELP US!!! Marketing Request Form
Marketing can get buried with requests. We want to help and be able to prioritize and cost save.
If all teams who have a Marketing need can use the Request Form, we would greatly appreciate it.
We are excited to share that we have been pilot testing our new smile transformation program with patients in our Riverside office. We've seen a lot of interest from patients who want to preview what their new smile might look like before they come in for their consultation. We currently show them a small view of just their teeth and smile, and then when they arrive, they will see their entire face with their new smile. This is an amazing new tool, and our goal is to increase the number of patients who arrive for their consultation.
Just a friendly reminder for the Holiday Schedule: Corporate employees do not follow the Center Closure Schedule for the month of December. Corporate has the following dates off:
12/24 Christmas Eve
12/25 Christmas Day
1/1 New Years Day
Any additional time off requests must go through your manager and be updated in Rippling after approval.
The Contact Center has a different schedule so please see inquire with Liz, Contact Center Manager.
Min Zhang was a same-day start. She called in with many questions and concerns. We talked for a long time about the MiGPS system, which truly peaked her interest. She had the goal of getting treatment done by November 25th. She had a consult scheduled with another dental office in the afternoon, but I scheduled her with us within the hour so she saw us first. She canceled her other consult and was a same-day start in Reseda.
