Microbiology Laboratory

The Microbiology Laboratory offers services in support to ERDB’s technical divisions and Research and Development and Extension Centers (RDECs), the National Greening Programs, government agencies, academe through extending technical assistance on Microbiological works.

• Provides research station workplace for various Bureau’s studies and projects under different research and development programs that handles microbiological studies such as bacteriological analyses of water and soil, and microscopy

• Laboratory Preparatory Room Area for storage of glasswares, supplies, equipment, and storage of samples; washing and sterilizing glasswares; preparing culture media; and microscopy

• Microbial Isolation Room Area for working with microorganism to prevent cross contamination of sample
