Denison's academic and administrative buildings are full of technology-enabled spaces designed to enhance learning and facilitate collaborative work on campus. Barney-Davis Hall:
Established 1894
An academic building that houses the English department, Environmental Studies department, and Media Technology Services.
Bryant Arts Center:
Established 1904
Bryant Arts is home to the departments of Studio Art and Art History/Visual Culture. The building boasts studios, a foundry, classrooms and computer lab.
Burton D. Morgan Center:
Established 2003
An administrative building that is home to Admission, Knowlton Center for Career Exploration, Alumni & Family Engagement, Off-Campus Studies, and more.
Temporary home of the Data Analytics program.
Cinema House:
Established 1964
Home to faculty and staff offices, a screening room, production equipment, and editing room, and media stations.
Curtis Dining Hall:
Established 1968
Cafeteria-style dining, study spaces, and an event space, the Provost's Dining Room
Doane Administration:
Established 1895
Doane Administration was built in 1895 as the Doane Academy, which closed in 1927 and is now home to administrative offices.
Doane Dance:
Established 1905
Built in 1905, Doane Dance in conjunction with the Eisner Center is home to the Dance Department. The facilities are used to teach modern dance, ballet, and contemporary jazz.
Ebaugh Laboratories:
Established 1966 - Latest Construction 2011
Ebaugh Laboratories is an academic building that houses the department of Chemistry and Biochemistry.
Eisner Center:
Established 2019
The Michael D. Eisner Center for the Performing Arts is home to the departments of Dance, Music, and Theatre. The Eisner Center also encompasses the former Burke Hall, which includes the Denison Museum and the Burke Gallery for exhibitions.
Fellows Hall:
Established 1956
Fellows Hall is home to International Studies, Modern Language, Global Commerce, History, East Asian Studies and Information Technology Services.
Herrick Performance Hall:
Established 1966
Herrick Hall is a performance space on the academic quad that seats about 300 individuals.
Higley Hall:
Established 1941
Higley Hall is home to the departments of Communication and Economics, the First-Year Office, and the Academic Resource Center.
Huffman Dining Hall:
Established 1960
Huffman Dining Hall is a campus dining hall on East Quad that uses local food sources and offers food options for every diet.
Hoaglin Wellness Center:
Established 2022
Hoaglin is home to wellness on campus. They offer medical and counsling services along with physical and mental wellness actvities.Â
Knapp Hall:
Established 1968
Built in 1968, Knapp Hall is home to eight academic departments and a performance space.
Lamson Lodge:
Established 1941
Lamson Lodge is a gathering space featuring a fireplace, patio, volleyball courts and outdoor space.
Library
William Howard Doane Library & Seeley G. Mudd Learning Center:
Established 1937
The Doane Library is home to study spaces, computer labs, a large collection of books, periodicals, and the Denison Archives.
Also houses the Center for Learning and Teaching on the Atrium Level.
Mitchell Center:
Established 2013
Houses: Trumbull Aquatics Center, Mitchell Fieldhouse, Livingston Gymnasium, Waddell Golf Facility, Crown Fitness Center, eClassrooms, Offices, Meeting Spaces and more.
Mulberry House:
Established 1940
Mulberry House is home to a 1100 square foot lab with tools to help artists explore intersections of their disciplines.
F.W. Olin Science Hall:
Established 1994
Built in 1994, this building houses the departments of physics, astronomy, geosciences, mathematics and computer science.
The Spiritual Life Center at Gilpatrick:
Established 1958
The Spiritual Life Center is home to spiritual life on campus including gathering spaces and a kitchen for religious and inter-religious gatherings.
Facilities Services:
Home to the office of the Facilities Services team and hub for planning, operating, maintaining, constructing & renewing campus facilities and grounds.
Samson Talbot Hall of Biological Science:
Established 2003
Home to the department of Biology, Talbot hall was built in 2003 as part of the academic quad expansion.
Slayter Hall Student Union:
Established 1962
Slayter Union is home to gathering spaces, a food market, mailroom, bookstore, auditorium, the Red Frame Lab, and other campus offices.
