  • Storytelling was a natural part of the work I did while teaching curriculum programming and outdoor pursuits to youth for Strathcona County, The City of Edmonton and Edmonton Public Schools from 1985 to 2001. I began formal, professional storytelling in 1996.
  • I was accepted onto the Artists Roster for the Young Alberta Book Society in 2001 and the Alberta Foundation of the Arts in 2002 and toured for them for many years until moving to BC.
  • In 2002, I was the touring storyteller for The Northern Lights Library System where I travelled to 30 libraries in Alberta over the summer.
  • Through the years I have presented keynotes, facilitated professional development workshops and performed concerts at many education and library conferences.
  • I was the summer reading program storyteller for all the Edmonton Public Libraries in 2007 and 2008.
  • I’ve told stories to thousands of students in hundreds of schools.
  • I’ve told in Canada as well as in England, Belgium, France, Australia, and New Zealand.
  • I’ve told historic stories while floating down the river recreating a fur trade journey.
  • In 2009 I presented cultural historical programming on The Rocky Mountaineer Train as we travelled between Vancouver and Banff.
  • I was the cultural liaison gathering stories for the Aboriginal Multi Media Society from 2003 – 2006
