OVERVIEW

Students learn how scientists think about energy, including the idea of dissipation. Students model how energy is transferred between stores and learn how we can use energy calculations to tell us which processes are possible. Students learn about sound and hearing, and what changes when you make sounds of different pitch and loudness. Students learn how we see objects and how light behaves when it hits different materials.
