OVERVIEW

Students will learn about the properties of different waves and how to calculate values of these properties when provided with data or to come up with practical methods which will allow them to obtain these values. Students will then go on to look at the behaviour of waves in terms of reflection and transmission before moving onto the electromagnetic spectrum where they will look at practical applications of different ranges of the electromagnetic spectrum as well as their associated risks.
