Students will look at both induced and permanent magnetism and methods that can be used to show the magnetic field around a magnetic object. They will then be introduced to electromagnetism along with practical applications of it before looking at the motor and generator effects and how these concept explain how transformers, electric motors, loudspeakers and microphones work.
