Foundation: Students will learn how to calculate the main averages (mean,median and mode) and the range of a set of data. Recognise the advantages and disadvantages of the different averages. Draw and interpret Stem and leaf diagrams/scatter graphs and be able to recognize the outlier in the data. Estimate the mean and median from a grouped frequency table. Interpret frequency tables and find the modal class. Understand what sampling is and how to avoid bias.
