OVERVIEW

Students will learn how to write one value as a percentage of another value, use a multiplier to calculate a percentage increase or decrease, write a change of value as a percentage increase or decrease and use percentages to compare two quantities.

Students will learn how to use flow diagrams to generate sequences, use the nth term to generate sequences, find the nth term of a sequence and use the special sequence of Fibonacci numbers.

Students will learn how to calculate the areas of triangles, parallelograms and trapezia, calculate the areas of compound shapes and calculate the surface areas of cuboids.
