OVERVIEW

Students will learn how to interpret percentages as fractions or decimals, work out a fraction or a percentage of a quantity, work out the result of a simple percentage change, solve simple problems involving percentage changes.

Use the correct words to describe probability, work with a probability scale, work out theoretical probabilities in different situations, use experimental probability to make predictions.

Recognise shapes that have reflective symmetry, use line symmetry, recognise and use rotational symmetry, reflect shapes in a mirror line, use coordinates to reflect shapes in all four quadrants, tessellate a shape. Solve simple equations and set up equations to solve simple problems.
