Students will practice their fieldwork skills by comparing and contrasting local areas. Students have studied fieldwork skills in year 7 and will review and expand on those skills. Students will learn how to create an enquiry question and how to collect and analyse data. A wide range of computer skills will be developed.

Students will become independent during the fieldwork topic, they will be asked to monitor their own behavior and their own safety for parts of the topics, and hopefully during the external fieldwork.
Science - Students will be undertaking their second fieldwork activity to a local river. Students will review key words regarding investigation like hypothesis, evaluation and conclusion.
Maths - students will collect, present and interpret a range of quantitative data.
